what time does awana clubs start?

The AWANA club opening starts at 6:00pm each Wednesday night during the months of August through May. For details please check the full AWANA calendar.

How do i register my child for awana clubs?

The AWANA Welcome Desk is open at 5:30pm every club Wednesday. It is located in the hallway and faces the entryway. We have hard copy registration forms available at the Welcome Desk. Thereafter, every club night your child will check in at the Welcome Desk. The AWANA Welcome Desk is where you may also go to for any information you may need about AWANA clubs at Immanuel Baptist Church of Perkins.

Are there special events and activities at awana clubs?

Yes! We have Theme Nights throughout the year. Some of the theme nights include: Pirate Night, Animal Night, Western Night, and everyone's favorite.... Store Night. We also have a club Grand Prix each spring. Check out the full AWANA calender for details.

What should I do while my child is in AWANA clubs?

We'd love for you to join our adult Bible Study on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–7:30!

My Child is brand new to awana. what should i expect?

First off, welcome to AWANA clubs at Immanuel Baptist Church! Each AWANA club opening starts with announcements, prayer, and pledges. Don't worry if you can't remember the words to the pledges; the words are provided on the screen for you. Each clubber will attend book-time, where they will dive into their AWANA book, and game-time full for fun activities for each age group.

Cubbies (3 & 4 yr olds) will begin in the Apple Acres Entrance booklet. The booklet will take the clubbers a few weeks to complete. Once completed, they will move as a group through their handbook, Honeycomb.

Sparks (Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd graders) : They will begin in the book, Flight 3:16, and can work at their own pace, but this book will take a minimum of two weeks to complete. Once they have completed this book, they will move into the first Sparks book, HangGlider.

T&T (3rd -6th grade) : T&T clubbers will begin in the Ultimate Adventure book 1 and book 2. After completing the book 1 and book 2 they will proceed into the Ultimate Challenge books 1 and 1.

My child is a returning clubber to the same club as last year. What should I expect?

Welcome back! We love watching our clubbers grow. We pray that the club transition is easy for you and your clubber. 

Cubbies (3 & 4 yr olds) : Clubbers will continue on in the same book.

Sparks (Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd graders) : If your clubber did not complete their book last year, they will continue on in that same book.

T&T (3rd -6th grade) : If your clubber did not complete their book last year, they will continue on in the same book. 

My child is returning but will be moving up to the next club. What should I expect?

Welcome back! We love watching our clubbers grow.  We pray that the club transition is easy for you and your clubber.

Cubbies (3 & 4 yr olds) : The Cubbies curriculum features two handbooks (AppleSeed and HoneyComb) that combine basic Scripture memory with parent - child activities to help Cubbies grasp simple biblical truths.

Sparks (Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd graders) : The Sparks curriculum is divided into three books. (HangGlider, WingRunner and SkyStormer). Each handbook contains a variety of memory verse drills, crafts, activities and review of key doctrine and Bible facts, and the books are divided into sections.

T&T (3rd -6th grade) : T&T clubbers will begin in the Ultimate Adventure book 1 and book 2. After completing the book 1 and book 2 they will proceed into the Ultimate Challenge books 1 and 1.

Do I Need to purchase a uniform for my child?

Purchasing a uniform is completely optional.
